If you're playing single player you have to make an all around build, it's easier online because people can pick dedicated builds and divide the usefulness of cards (Provided you get people that know what they're doing). Once people understand how to build decks and realize you have to be prepared for Nightmare the less stressful it becomes.
Damage types stack different, 10% weakness damage + 10% damage is different than 20% weakness damage. The more of different damage stacks you have the more damage you will do.
If you want the most damage early game then all you need is Patient Hunter (30% bullet damage) and Hyper Focused (50% Weakspot Damage) and you will see the difference. If you don't own those cards yet you can use other variations of these cards.
+Respect for learning and changing your review after understanding what you did wrong. I feel there are many negative reviews for this game that it doesn't deserve.
It’s very doable if you know how to play the maps. I’m cruising through No Hope with bots.
With 75% accessory damage and a white grenade which does 850 damage you will do around 1487 damage. All it takes is a few bullets for it to die. If you use a green grenade you pretty much kill any mutation except bosses.
Later on when you stack accessory damage, glass cannon for 25% damage and 25% team explosive damage you can do around 2400-2700 with a white grenade. A couple of grenade upgrades and you will one shot Monstrous Bruisers in No Hope which have over 3k HP.
You can build and do so many things with cards, it surprises me sometimes that people have so much problem with the game. All they have to do is experiment and learn.
