And i think there are alot of people liking the game and just not visiting the forums because why would they?
The rage bubble that has build up in the forums is really impressive and people do their best to talk this game to death.
But i think player numbers look pretty good so far, still steam top 100 and i assume that's not even a huge margin of the total player base.
People just love to hate in echo chambers :D
It's really not that "some people will never be happy". The game badly balanced, too hard, and frustrating.
What the devs seem to have missed is that the majority of players do not have a bunch of friends to play with and even if they do, can't play with them all the time. Players need to be able to solo progress the game and very importantly play with randoms.
This has been aired many times by gamers but some folks, particularly the devs just don't want to listen. Thing is that you have to keep the majority happy or the game dies, and that's exactly what is happening. The numbers speak for themselves. The game is attracting only half the players of L4D2, a game that is now twelve years old.
That's clearly not the case if you think about it for just a second but still they keep bringing it up regardless of how often you explain to them why it's nonsense.
We just have to wait until they all find a new thing to hate so this forum gets usable again.
As you say the game is dead guys, there is no reason to keep spamming the forums about it.
Move on.
So your entire argument against what I said is "oh, it's hate, see?". Lol! The fact is the some people are just living in denial.

And I think people do hang on to the forum because it is a huge shame the devs dropped the ball in the final stages. It could have been a great game and nearly was... but as it is, it just isn't.
You're in the minority there bruv. And while I do respect your opinion, I have a majority of people have higher standards than you so it might not be fun for them.
There you have it, i explained it again, and i'm sure you will still refuse that fact and act like B4B has less total players than L4D2.
Speaking of denial my friend, you can lol as much as you want.
They know the only way to have a higher playerbase is doing crossplay, but this is a shoot in the foot too because with this they take to long to roll corrections since they need to get ok from xbox and sony thats why they all get hate from Pc players and its a slow process , and the damage is done , this "server side" patch never work.
Ahhh the old dollar per hour justification, i see. Too bad thats a terrible way to measure value. Do you measure food you buy by the same standard? How about the things you watch? How about the music you listen too? If you drive, how about the price of your car against the amount of time you spend in your car versus the price of the car against the amount of time the car is spent parked? Context is important to be sure, but the dollar per hour played justification is literally just that, a way for people to justify their purchase not the end all be all metric to determining the value of a product.
Lol have fun with your trash tier game though :D I too am a connoisseur of trash tier games. Though id be damned if i ever paid full price for any of mine, wincing at the thought.
