How to switch between online and offline mode

Just got the game, and I like what I'm playing so far.

If I'm not playing with friends I'd like to go offline and play solo campaign.

what is the process if someone wanted to stop playing online and start playing offline??
If I exit and I'm back at the hub I don't see and option to switch online/offline modes.

I currently close the whole game and restart it on steam choose offline mode and god forbid my friends come online again and I'm trying to figure out how to get online all over again.

You can just "sign out" in game. This doesnt actually make you sign out like you expect, it just puts you back in the first screen when you boot up the game, where you can choose offline. In offline you can then play through the campaign like normal, and you keep all your rewards for online as well. You can also still access the old practice mode, which has all cards unlocked but no progression.

yuh like Seekay said above, just click "sign out" instead of exit to desktop.
