Aim Down Sights Glitch

When using the large machine gun, not RPK, I walk instead of aiming down sights.

you probably have a card that disable aim down sights. Which is why you are walking instead of aiming down sights.

No, because when I press aim down sights my character walks. it's a bug, not a card. I only carry two decks, and I checked them both.

Did you accidentally remap "forward" to your ADS? That would be right mouse button to what used to be W for me.

No, I have only noticed this bug when using the m249, I think that's what it's called. I may have noticed it with an smg, but I don't remember. I just remember it happening a couple times yesterday with the m249 machine gun.

If I had remapped "forward" I would be in a lot of trouble in game, haha.

That's exactly what happen when ADS disable card is active..
Either in your deck, or you quick play into a game and inherited the last player's cards.

I am not explaining this right I guess.

Let's make pretend that some how when I use that weapon, my right click binding (look down sights/zoom) somehow gets re-binded to "walk" if there is a walk key.

I get what you're thinking. A card that disables look down sights does not make you suddenly go into a walking pace.

Those cards complete erase the use of that binding completely. So it's not a card. Plus I don't use a disable down sights card.

To further simplify the bug explanation, my right click makes my character move at crouching speed without crouching. I hope this clears it all up.

Compare this "walking speed" to the "aim down sight" speed. Because right click does two things->aims down sights and moves at aim down sight speed. And there is a glitch that the "disables aim down sight" cards make you walk at walking speed when right clicking. It does not completely erase that binding.

So if this is happening consistently between different games then the glitch is that this particular weapon is disabling your aim down sights for whatever reason. Though, just be aware if you take over bots, then they might have "disable aim down sights" cards and you can find intel that have this trait. So if this ever happened to me, I'd press tab and double check all my active cards thoroughly first.

Thanks I'll check that out later. But I do not use disable ADS in either of my decks. Good observation, thanks for the input/advice.

I think you have the card +50% damage on critical spots and -40% of move speed when you aim or use melee (also this card was nerfed on previous update)
It makes you really really really slow and maybe you inherited the deck of the previous owner of the bot you took. If your ADS is disabled + this card = you walk really slowly when you hit RMB

Did you load into a game with quick play? Could be you loaded another user’s deck

Had the same thing happen to me, started a mission from the start and it granted me the no-ADS card even though it doesn't show up in the 'current cards' section.

No, because, that would mean the card got bugged during the December update, which I don't think is the reason for this occurring.

No ADS card mean that there is no secondary or alternative function when it is equipped. My RMB turned into a walk button.

Just equip any ADS disable card and see for yourself.
This has always been the behavior for me, right click, no ADS, but move with ADS speed. Is this a bug? Who knows, ask TRS
