Melee build in next patch .. too weak or balance ?
Dec-16 patch note : https://back4blood.com/en-us/news/december-2021-update

TRS adjust many cards and adjust some game system.
for gunplay , it get buff , stronger than before. Enjoy
for melee , [[adrenaline fueled]] is change from old(+100 sta,-75% sta regen , gain 10 sta and regen 10sta/5sec) to new(+7sta/7sec , 5 stacks buff)
with this change , non Holly melee build need too many stamina card to play with melee build , what a waste...

also change Razor-Wire to quick use item make pain for melee player in a map that need to zone defense, white grade Razor-wire is weak and paid 1500 for upgrade quick use item is seem meh...

oh , they add card for +quick use slot , It's time to carried 5 stun guns.

Didn't notice much of anything affecting melee, but guns have a lot of new cards, so that's kind of cool. Overall, these are some good patch notes. The game should be a lot more accessible, and easier for people who want to try nightmare. Hopefully we get people coming back to check it all out.

they nerfed mele again .. Adrenalin fueled doesnt give instant 10 stamina on kill.. that was one of the best perks for mele.. especially on holly as it would stack with her perk.

this makes mele viable only in recruit after patch.

Melee is still pretty OP on current Veteran, doubt this will make much of a dent, might just have to switch to your gun now and then to recharge stamina instead of holding LMB by a door to win.

Adrenaline fueled getting changed does hurt non holly melee builds a bit as now you arent going to be able to hold M1 down to mulch hordes you might have to let go of M1 and then press it again when ridden are close to conserve stamina when using high stamina cost weapons like the fire ax.

Crazy idea i know, melee is definitely not viable on veteran anymore (this is sarcasm if you think melee is gone now you're a bot).

Outside of melee though adrenaline fueled lookin' pretty good now since it no longer comes with its HUGE -75% stamina regen penalty. I already tried it on run'n'gun SMG decks and as an eco card on other decks (rather than taking 2 cards like cross trainers+super cardio or cold brew coffee you just take adrenaline fueled) but it could cause problems where you run out of commons to regen stamina off of. Now though with no drawbacks though its looking great all around.

I just get all act 3 full melee as Holly and it worked fine. Just don't play with randoms or with Ai and your fine. Next update is gonna make the game more enjoyable and allow people to play more various decks/cards. It's very cool.
Now for the nerf on adrenaline fuel, we will see after some time and also remember there will be Burn cards you can buy for Supply points on merchants, its gonna help anyway.

nah, there are other changes to account for this. like coffee is buffed and energy drink. also it makes methhead and the other stamina cost reduction card useful again.

To be fair, if you wasn't already using holly for melee, you were doing it wrong. And Before it was pretty OP as you could keep swinging indefinitely as long as there was a few enemies to kill.

Doc is going to be a solid melee choice too if "healing efficiency affects temp health" also affects vanguard and face your fears.
