transfer saves
if i played this on xbl game pass when it was out originally could i transfer the save files to the steam version if i bought it?

i didnt play on xbox, i used xbl gamepass for pc i dont own/play consoles

That's what I mean by xbox "platform", it's not just the consoles, but it's the entire xbox ecosystem which includes PC.
