Game has anti cheat violation?

How can I check what this means I did not cheat or use any cheats for this game ever.

Hey Guys - I have a potential fix for this if you are still getting the error (it is possible it was a server error)

Anyway I deleted all the reg keys related to Easy Anti Cheat (basically did a wildcard search with cheat in the reg) some cannot be deleted but those look like windows required reg keys.

After doing that and reinstalling for good measure it seemed to work itself out. I know some people mentioned to restart their router which fixed it for them for some reason but my only conclusion besides something not communicating back server side is that there was stale data in the registry.

Can't confirm nor deny without going through logs buuuut this worked for me so maybe itll help someone else

I had this problem. If it hasn't been fixed for anyone, just delete all files related to easy anti cheat in the back4blood game folder (like 1 file and 1 folder) then verify game integrity through steam. It will redownload all the easy anticheat stuff. Then start your game.

I had this problem and fixed it by deleting OneDrive after a Windows update. Rebooted game and it worked.

Same thing, yesterday played for few hours no prob. Today, launch the game again, anti-cheat bug. Never cheated, played the game since early access. All other games works fine, Apex Legends, Fall Guys, Aliens Fireteam Elite, World War Z... etc. Also when closing the game, the process still stay ON, I have to force close it with task manager

Yeah, lol, Lots of people using the cheat where you can duplicate your offensive item, Ie infinite pipe bombs etc. I have reported many players myself for using this cheat!!! I paid full price for this game and you think you can ♥♥♥♥♥ troll my money!? Why would you buy a game and then skip the content!? You cheaters are a waste of good oxygen. I will continue to report all and any cheaters as and when I see them doing it. you want to run around in your zwat gear trying to make other players think that your just that good! Pfffffff get banned noobs.

I was having problems on gamepass last night. The game hard closed randomly while in menus at Fort hope.

No error messages, just dumped straight to desktop anywhere from 10 seconds to a couple minutes while in menus.

I jumped straight to a training match one time and it seemed to run OK at that point.

I updated my driver's and still the same thing. But the game had been running fine for me since launch so I doubted that was it anyway.

I didn't test it with a MP join because I didn't want to join and drop and maybe mess somebody else's match up.

I wonder if my problem is related to this issue.

Same here. I can't play a single round online. (I played the gamepass version in singleplayer mode i and thought buying it for real would be a good idea.) I never cheated.

guys, make sure you make a reply on this post https://back4blood.bugs.wbgames.com/bug/B4B-80 (it is the official bug report of this particular problem) of Back 4 Blood, and describe your problem in detail. The more people post, the higher chance they'll fix it faster.

If someone still gets this problem. For me the solution was disabling "crossplay", when i disabled that I didn't get the anti cheat error anymore and i could join/find games

My game has an anti-cheat error (cause 4), which prevents me from joining the game, I have turned cross-platform on or off, checked the integrity of the game, and re-downloaded the game and it doesn't work, what should I do?
