I get frame drops down to 40 fps
Hello, I get huge frame drops and very unstable FPS.
I have a GTX 1070, an i7 6700k and 32 GB of RAM.
The game's installed on an M.2 SSD.

If I use AMD FSR 1.0 on Performance, it fixes those lags, however the game is unplayable because of very bad blur (It's impossible to see targets that are like 20m away because of the screen being super blurry)

My settings are the following :

Hopefully someone can help me out :reheart:

Side note, I'm playing on 1440x1080 on the screenshots because I tried to lower the resolution a bit (using a stretch res) to see if it would help, which it didn't

You'll never have to worry about any of this with a series x and it's cheaper. PCs are just obsolete now, they are too clunky and fragmented. Powerful gaming consoles are the future.

we have almost the same specs, i have 16GB RAM though.
I play everything maxed but locked to 60.
also, 1440x1080 is a weird resolution?
turn off all the resolution scaling/upscaling crap. game is also pretty blurry just in general (people playing at 1440/4k won't have it be as noticeable)

--edit--
just noticed DX11, have you tried DX12?

Yep, I did, the performance is the same. I think that it might be an app in the background that's conflicting or something.
I don't know anymore, I just wanna have a smooth experience

might pay to cleanup your startup programs. game should run basically locked 60+ on the specs though, and i usually watch twitch on the side at 1080/60.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

consoles are not cheaper because you have to pay for online forever
consoles are weak apu's, there is no such thing as a powerful console

this game is so easy to run, update all your software (bios, gpu driver, ssd firmware, windows) and check your temperatures (cpu and gpu)
it runs in 1080p/max graphics settings/180 fps average for me

Yep. When huge horde arrives, framerate goes down the toilet, but also GPU usage. Clearly, there is a CPU bottleneck.
