Getting a consistent micro stutter since latest patch

Anyone else also getting this? I'm running it at 144hz with absolutely no lag, but every 10-20 seconds the game hiccups. Doesn't matter what I'm doing, I can be AFK in the menu changing settings and even the menu will stutter while I'm scrolling through options.

Yeah wouldn't describe this game as a stable and stutter free game thats for sure. Its pretty bad.

Yeah its not only you but everyone I am getting it when the horde comes in or when I am in middle of firefight I think the game is trying to check friends list in a few secs and keep updating it or maybe xbox game bar is running or wins 10 optimization is on. These are the major reasons for it but try out by playing b4b by putting steam on offline and disable the above things if you can. :D

disable vsync and force it through your gpu's control panel, see if that helps. it could also be a network thing.

It could also be because I am Australian and we are the lepers of the online world, getting hi ping ha ha.

It depends on your specs, I’ve played the game on game pass and it seemed fine on max settings

yeah everytime a horde or boss comes the game lags for a while

servers prob runs on a potato, connection is also lost sometimes

Thanks to consoles/crossplay Destiny 2 would also get micorostutter bad every few patches when a windows patch messed it up. Clearing the game's cache and shrinking your friends list down fixes it. (the larger your friend list the faster the cache fills up and can corrupt)
