Nightmare quick play must have knowledge
I have a (few) hours on Back 4 Blood and a somewhat even amount of Nightmare quick play/ with friends however, my question is for quick play players. What are must have knowledge for joining quick play so as to not be a hindrance to you're team, example don't shoot randomly in the distance in the fog as that might trigger a door alarm.

Take it slow even if you have an understanding of the map.
Always run out of the way for Tallboys / Crushers
If no-one on your team buys a toolkit - Get one - I always check for this
Stick Together
Crouch
To avoid misfiring { hitting other players } always aim at the lower torso if you're able
Be Patient it will be tedious

Good Luck :)

my top would be:

1 - go with the team decision even if you disagree
2 - if you happen to activate sleepers regularly: don't go first(glancing at some melee players)
3 - fill the missing role even if you don't want to play it right now(play mom for the extra life if your doc doesn't have needs of the many[which is a bad sign already])
4 - communicate as much as possible even if you don't get feedback from the team(most people at least read it)
5 - avoid friendly fire. when in doubt: don't shoot and let the one in the front kill the ridden(on some occassions i take more damage from my teammates than i get from enemies)
6 - learn to position yourself effectively
7 - in general: don't be a solo player

edit(since i saw that in my last random run):
8 - don't unload your magazine into ridden if you have a melee who got the door(those bullets are for specials saying hi and you deny a lot of heal from your melee and in case of vanguard from your team)
9 - if your healer is dry of items drop them whatever you got(especially pills in front of a running event if people are low. everybody loves a pill party especially with poultice)
10 - if you have a melee focus the acid/flaming ridden and leave the common ones for him
11 - don't shoot the head of the exploding ridden when they are close to your teammates

Impossible without Down in Front card in most cases.
Some situations forcing you to throw grenades in short distance.
The first card that should be used to play, because noobs always teamattacking.

If someone is meleeing, don’t shoot them in the back of the head with a .50 cal while “protecting “ them from ridden which basically function as healing

And i don’t like down in front early in a deck. some people should have it, but since it works both ways, everyone doesn’t need it, and there are lots of important cards

down in front card is mainly used by griefers now a days to avoid getting ff'd but doing it to others anyway, i just prefer not to have melee in the group at all anyways, i wish to play the game after all

8. bring burn cards
i assume bring 8 continues, which is 800 points, idk if people would want to spend that much on a run anyways

Sometimes you can play with them.
Because some players are using PlayStation as PC like (Ordinal PC display with keyboard and mouse - this dudes are good).
But gamepad users are the worstest thing i've ever met in this game.
I can say - gamepad users is a complete disaster of B4B.

yea this is why i tend to say no to cross play when it comes to consoles and PC users, they just don't mix well, even when i tried to help them they often don't listen and run off and the team killed anyways
