So the game textures became ugly...
This also mean they are not good at their job coz this is the only thing they could do and it will stay like this.
Edit : I forgot to precise that they removed the possibility to toggle ON / OFF, they locked it in Manual mod are they are disabled to make a decent game.
Not NEARLY enough dark areas.
C'mon man!
Maybe give the dev's a break.
Maybe in the future they add a manual mode and button just for PC but it's probably low priority. They'd probably sooner add the automatic toggle in more places where it'd be useful, works fine most of the time but there is the odd dark corner here and there.
no idea why this is the case, if it’s performance they’re trying to conserve from the player casting shadows with their own flashlight then there’s no point
i miss those post processing effects :c
Performance is not the issue there. 3 flashlights creating dynamic shadows are more expensive that 1.
