Session has incompatible crossplay settings

What does this even mean?
Does it mean there are 0 sessions on Steam PC?
Does it mean the game attempted to connect me to a game with crossplay settings that didn't match my own? (Aka not my problem?)
This is needlessly vague, and also stops your queue.

It means you are using different cross play settings than the host. I've only seen this a few times. Mostly when I queued up with friends and some of them had it on still while I had it off.

That's so weird, you'd think it wouldn't bother to try and connect you to games that you literally can't connect to... oh well, at least now I know.

Okay, this is a necro but this issue keeps kicking me out of existing lobbies and its annoying. Makes me wanna go back to Left 4 Dead not gonna lie often or not because of it.

And to answer this clearly, it won't let me rejoin the game I was kicked either so yeah very dumb how acts and missions are thought out in terms of how matchmaking works in this game oof

It is supposed to not allow Crossplay Disabled players to join Crossplay Enabled players, but sometimes it still does and gives you an error. Players with crossplay enabled never suffer from this as far as I know, it's only when you disable it.
But 3s delayed reaction times on your bot-thief teammates isn't great, even in recruit, cuz they just take too much damage. I'd consider disabling crossplay as worth the risk...

I have it enabled. It kicks me out every so often and pretty annoyed. I uninstalled this game until it is fixed or something. :v
