Is there hacks now on the VS
Someone help me out...
I've been playing some games on versus and I've noticed some crazy stuff. Like a tallboy going down to one bar and then suddenly turning around and then being maxed out with a fresh tall boy right behind him.

Now... I'm kinda new at this but yesterday I was doing alright... Now the learning curve has maxed out and I have been left behind.

I have no shame in admitting that I need more knowledge and skill. I'll go look on Youtube for some tips but if anyone can helps me figure this out.

I haven't seen anything quite like what you're describing myself in Swarm so far, and I play a lot of Swarm right now. I'd be curious if this is part of a (potentially working as designed) Mutation issue I've been taking notes on before I submit my bug report to see if it's flagged as intentional or not.

I'm not going to go into details here but unless you're positive it was the same Tall Boy suddenly going from 1 bar to max health (as in there's no question someone killed the low health Tall Boy) it sounds similar to an issue I've seen that isn't hacking.

If you see a Tall Boy just magically go from like 10hp to max health in the blink of an eye try to figure out which player it is behind the wheel (so to speak) and report them in game for sure.

I haven't really seen any evidence of people cheating in Swarm myself. Are you saying that you have?

1. I about certain it was the same Tall Boy, and even if it was a fresh one the re-spawning should have kept it to only one.
2. I've been thinking about what all happened in the multiple games I had played and would get decimated in under a minute. It seemed like the Ridden abilities were WAY higher than they feasible could be. The bile being like tar on the first round, Tall Boys having insane health and often the opposing cleaner team having over 8+ flash bangs.

I need to do more research but I'd be interested in what all the starting stats are for the game on both cleaner and ridden.

The issue I was referencing (that I'll be reporting as a potential bug soon) would apply here if it wasn't the same Tall Boy. If it turns out to be working as intended I'll happily go into more details about this, but until then I'd rather not spread ways to potentially exploit Swarm matches since we already have issues with players dropping just before the match is "lost" resulting in no win for the other team.

Regarding the other stuff mentioned:

There have been matches where I've found 8 flash bangs, or 8 molotovs, or 8 pipe bombs so I'm not sure that's a sign they were doing anything nefarious. If you're saying a single Cleaner was holding 8 flash bangs without ever picking up more from the ground - that definitely sounds sketchy. I think the most a Cleaner can carry right now is 4 offensive items in Swarm, and that's Hoffman with the extra slot card.

For clarification, I think it is possible to have the Retch Vomit upgraded to slow Cleaner movement significantly (I think that's what you're talking about) if the Ridden team pools their points into Mobility. 50 for the first tier, and 100 for tier two (150 points total out of 200 available to spend on a 4 person team). That leaves 50 for tall boy stun resistance or health (or whatever else.) Same goes for Tall Boys if the team pools their points, you can hit tier 2 in any of the 3 options along with a single tier 1 if that's all they spend points on. So that's potentially tier 2 health, and tier 1 damage or stun resistance.

I don't have the actual upgrade list in front of me right now so when I'm able I'll review what I said against that and correct this comment if I was mistaken about the specifics.

When you cheat online, you don't want to make it too obvious otherwise reports will flood in and you'll be banned eventually. Ask all the pros in esports how they do it ;)

What? I'm specifically not looking for how to cheat in B4B, I'm talking about something I've noticed potentially being unintentional behavior that might be used to game a match, and not discussing details of that until I hear back if it is a bug or something else.

That's the whole point. You make it look like a bug or something less conspicuous to mask cheating.

I don't understand what you're getting at and at this point I'll stop responding to this thread until I've heard back from the Devs since I'm not interested in discussing how to cheat.

Okay since I need to spell it out for you in very simple english for your sake:
What you are seeing and thinking are "bugs" are not actually bugs, but players cheating in a not-so-obvious way. Capiche?

I get that I've been not specific about what I'm referring to, but I have no reason to think that it is caused by cheating at this time. Once I hear back from the Devs I'll happily provide an update.

Can't comment on swarm - yet to play properly but I have come across suspicious activity in campaign. One example which I don't think was a bug: Hell's Bells, nightmare, one of the players was endlessly spamming grenades clearing the way as he went. He got to the church with little effort. With the right cards and character you will never get more than 6 grenade slots. From the moment I joined until I left ( I was spectating while waiting for my bot to be rescued so i could take over - I left when they go to the church entrance) - he must have thrown over 100 nades. Player was however taking occasional damage.
