Why docs hate experienced emt card?
Yea sure you can spend 300 on medkit to heal 15 trauma... or you can spend 150 on bandage and heal 20-40 trauma. Why every doc picks first option? Explain it to me like im 5, coz i dont get it.

After reviewing what that card says and does. I still would not put it in my doc deck. I've watched a video that explains to take full advantage of the card you have to get injured at the beginning of the level then use heal item, then go back and buy more heal items. That sounds awful to do every game. I don't care how good it theoretically is, badly designed card if everyone has to do that at the start every time.

People get wounded all the time. People either carry bandage or pills all the time. Healing items can often be found during mission. Healing you team 4 times over the course of a mission is normal. If only way for you to take any damage is to damage yourself then you are extremely skilled player and dont need anyone to play support anyway.
Aside of that, after mission when team has wounds you can just heal them using bandages instead of buying heal for 100. Using 1 bandage literary saves 2 medkits.

Im still trying to optimize my doc medic build and Rousing speech and inspiring sacrifice right now are my starting essential cards. Revive quickly and heal the whole team every time someone goes down is a no brainier to me. I even sometimes prefer mom over doc due to increasing the amount of incaps as well.

On nightmare you run blind EMT and surplus pouches in your first 8 cards for self healing.

3 speed cards, experienced emt, canned goods and full shotgun dps. enough to keep my trauma at 0 at nightmare most of the time. I created this topic because even with doc in team i still have to pick this card, because if i wont trauma will wear me down eventually. Im mostly using walker or karlee.

Scaling.
The trauma healed by upgraded medkits and the trauma heal of Medical Professional can scale with proficiency and bonus effects like Miraculous Recovery.

Also Defibs are a Medical accessory if you were unaware. It can also scale with proficiency and can proc effects like Poultice, Miraculous, Group Therapy, etc.
So Medical Professional is the objectively better trauma heal and it restores lives.

I like running Medical Professional even on builds that aren't really support, and with money grubbers I can easily afford to buy a few things at the start of each stage. Being able to bring my own medkits and use defibs to get up others in a pinch (including the real support if there is one) with less trauma is pretty nice, and it's just one or two perks.

Alright i just played with doc that wasnt using experienced emt and i know specifically what triggers me the most. Doc is grabbing bandages and using them on people even if was told im running experienced emt. I am unable to grant buff and trauma heal to teams because docs are wasting healing supplies even when they are worthless in their hands. Its like watching a speedruner on full speed deck grabbing all your ammo when you are full dps death machine.
