windows store and steam version cross progression?

playing the windows store version atm with gamepass but thinking of buying the game on steam once the price drops, will i be able to continue my progress on steam?

havent tried, there are save files that can be moved for a lot of game pass games and you can find you tube vids /guides for that , this being an online progression game i would normally lean towards it wont work here, but its not certain.

As far as I know, sadly no.

If you buy on Steam you will have to start from the beginning of progression.

The devs have confirmed that progression only sticks on the same platform. So PS4 -> PS5, Gamepass -> Xbox or Windows/MS Store. Trying on gamepass means you'll need to buy through the Microsoft ecosystem, not Steam.
