Why do other players not use the money grubbers card?
You selfish ******

All the time I find myself being the only one running the card, and so I'm usually the one who buys the team upgrades.

Theoretically, if everyone made space for this one card then money wouldn't be an issue. Hell, even if two people ran it that would solve all team's money problems.

Don't be selfish, spare a slot.

The description on it is terrible and people don't understand what it actually does.

I found it pretty concise tbh. Should be a PSA to all new players, and even those trying for vet and nightmare.

Me and the vast majority of other players reading it initially thought it was garbage, and only would give up to 100 per map (which is fairly consistent with the other economy cards). I only ever tried it because I saw a reddit post saying it was meta.

Because excess money is useless. You only need one person with both money grubbers and copper scavenger or 2 people max with money grubbers to have enough money to buy everything your team will every need. Having 4 player with money grubbers just leads to an excess in copper that has no use in the long run.
You can also make a scavenger/economy build which is incredibly useful since having more copper and supplies spawn on the map is useful across all difficulties.

Yes, that's what I said. At least 2 people running it even w/o copper scavenger.

The problem is when I'm the only one running it and barely have enough for team upgrades and 6 grenades.

I dont find money to be an issue. As long as people are sharing their cash there is always enough to go around.

Except in act 3. 8-5 (the mansion map) is very unique in terms of how it works, you have infinite time to set up at the beginning of this map, so you can spend every penny on offensive and support items and lug them over to the mission area, and on Veteran and higher you pretty much have to have dozens of barbed wires and other things in order to survive.

Probably because instead of trying to focus around copper when doing Vet or Nightmare everyone is focusing around more IMPORTANT MECHANICS like KEEPING THE TEAM ALIVE! What good is all that copper when you see that "Run Failed" message because you wanted to be a hoarder!

What kind of dumb answer is this. Copper can be used to top of offensive accessories and medkits, not to mention buy more slots and increase their efficacy. The more copper you have, the more reliably you can purchase the upgrades in the safe room (and also some cards you come across in the game).

I run a hoffman explosive build for killing the specials and ogres, once I had 8 grenade slots. And that crap isn't cheap. More grenades translates to more survivability for my team, same can be said for the medkits. Just like in real life, money is important. But there comes a point in game where it becomes a non issue. So at the least 2 players should run money grubbers.

Should definitely be a PSA, I see lots of people complaining about the difficulty but don't try to make it easier by buying upgrades smh and more ammo smh.

Even with the mansion you are still fine with the copper amount since you will still have several thousand excess copper after buying the team upgrades which is enough to buy the barb wire and pipe bombs need for this map. Sure more barb wire wouldn't hurt, but you will have enough to safely complete this mission.

I'll have to check this, but I could've sworn it stacks since when I was running with a team of 4 money grubbing friends we seemed to break the 10k mark even if it was the only fortune card equipped.

You can also bait Rojers into getting hocker'd just outside the mansion then he draws all the agro of the commons.

This is the point since that excess copper has no use, It would have been more useful for only 2 players to have money grubbers so the other two players could have had cards to increase their deck strength.
