How About Them CPU Temps???
Seeing my cpu temps in the 90c range is common with the title (up to 95c) and it seems to runs perfectly fine still.

Anyone else having high cpu temps?

specs:
i7 9700k @ 4.9 ghz
Nvidia 3070FE
32GB Corsair Vengeance ram @ 3200 mhz
Corsair H100 liquid cooler
Installed on Samsung nvme

uncapped fps? there is no point playing pvp game with uncapped fps. I just set it 3 fps lower than my max vrr range. Higher fps means your cpu will have to work harder to provide draw calls for your gpu.

I can only think you are a fella who plays with no G-Sync or V-Sync. There is no other reason for that high of temp and for that to be sustained. I'm sure if I was physically there I could diagnose further. The game runs fine and dandy and really doesn't tax a PC the way a real "AAA" graphical title does today. Still looks good, just not Triple-Eh!

Check with some programs that monitor things.

So I should just V sync it eh?

Cap FPS to your monitor refresh rate.
Gsync should have no impact on cpu performance, and especially not up to 100% to reach those temps.

Iam playing on 4k HDR no dlss, @120fps / hz lock and get like 70c on my Card and ~55c on the cpu.

-It is possible with 1080p the cpu bottlenecks the gpu and it throws like +300fps,
-your antivirus doesn't like easy anti cheat and both scan each other all the time

you should check with taskmgr wich process uses the whole cpu.
and check utilization GPU & CPU ingame, GPU should always be higher than cpu
(if its the other way around, your cpu is bottlenecking)

It sounds odd that the cpu reaches this temps while playing B4B and not benching.

got a Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700 CPU @ 3.60GHz with 16 gbs and it runs good with a Geforce 6gb card

Oc'd 10900k here, not much more than 70c max during gameplay...when the game first launches, where its generating shaders - is where my temps rise to around 80c but then again its drawing like 180watts.

If ur hitting 90+ during gameplay then u probably have a problem with ur pc

Never pass 50c with my fx-11700k++++ I have an h100i aio. 90c even on air seems odd.

I only play games on it so I don't use third party anti virus. I am well aware they like to scan archives in the background. Also I play on 1440p, Nvidia DLSS set to quality. CPU always being hotter then GPU is a lie and I don't know where you internet lords get your info but you should apply for a job on Tech Foundry's youtube channel. I think you guys don't realize how hot PC parts can get when you run them overclocked and unbarred.

Either way, just throwing on Vsync made it drop about 10c.

The way the game spawns and creates enemy waves is done with the cpu NOT the gpu so expect it to get taxed whenever hordes spawn in.

63c for me, put in another fan or 2 into your case. Playing at 1440p and a 2070.

The game does not make your CPU temps high.....your poor cooling solution does.

dont buy a laptop
Doomvora Oct 12, 2021 @ 9:20am
50c here, air cooled at 1080p. Not sure where you're getting 90c from, sounds more like a case issue than a game issue.
