FIX LARGE FRIEND LIST STUTTER EVERY 24-25 seconds, Ruining gameplay!

I sent this in during the beta, depending on how many friends you had the game causes a stutter every 24 seconds or so. This is still happening in the Full release of the game, the only way I could stop this is to make a new account without friends and rebuying the game? PLEASE FIX THIS

I also notice it goes away when i pull my internet out and move around in game, Destiny 2 has fixed a similar issue before and many other games, if you experience this stutter PLEASE BUMP THIS AND LET THEM KNOW AND BUMP THE BUG REPORT THREAD

Please vote it and also let the developers know if you are still experiencing this issue, Thank you The work around right now is blocking everyone on your friendlist but as you know I have people who stalk me and or harass me on steam so I would like to keep em blocked, I do not like to go over the block list every time I want to play this game

It's even worse. My guide to stop stuttering if you have a huge Steam friendslist isn't working any longer. That's really sad.

Yeah, the stutter issue is a matter of your Steam friendslist. I can play without any stuttering (steady 60 FPS) if I plug off the internet but just for about 40 seconds before I got logged off. After that I have the stuttering again and even less FPS (about 50 plus the stutter issue every 10 seconds).

I really, really, REALLY hope that the devs will fix this asap. Or I will be kinda forced to refund it. :(

P.S.:
Of course I will never do the "let's kick my friends off my list" because of that issue.

This isn't some exclusive to Back 4 Blood, many games that have the option to invite friends directly through steam have this issue, such as but not limited to Rocket League, this is why Steam has a limit to how many friends you can have, because having an exceedingly large friends list can cause issues when loading invite links for each individual person at once

I was under the impression there was a hard cap of 300 friends on steam

Looks like I will be asking for a refund unfortunately. Have very little hope that the developers will solve this problem asap. If it does get fixed at some point, I will probably get it.

Refunded and hopefully to rebuy it if the issue will be really fixed!

I pushed forward a bug report to the dev, Lots of steam games had this problem and fixed it, here's hoping they see it and fix it because there will be other people experiencing this, anyone with over 300 people on friend list will stutter in this game

Same problem here - big friendlist and microstutter every 10-15 secs. That's really annoying and makes game afwul.

Destiny 2 also had this issue on steam release, only have 320ish friends and haven't had this happen yet. If i had to guess it's likely due to the friends tab on system menu is refreshing/doing calls even when closed. It's should be a simple flag/registry edit to adjust this.
