Will it be just like Dead by daylight where you disable it by unchecking one option in menu?
Will crossplay be turned off by default?
Can i talk to other players from diffrent platforms and add them to friends? ( in Dead by daylight you cant speak to players from diffrent platfroms like Windows store and steam.
Dunno why a game would disallow VOIP for crossplay either, must be a technical reason.
It'd be great if the spray tags in B4B were designed for conveying information to your team for when you're playing with people not using VOIP, but from what we saw in the beta it's just a buncha useless graffiti, and you have to unlock all of it.
Wasted opportunity imo.
in the beta you were asked to write down a username for their system so im sure that name will be used for crossplay friendlist (i couldnt test crossplay as my xbox friends arent interested in b4b), just watch out if your name contains characters the engine doesnt know (like my name) your name will be displayed as question marks
also for dbd not even people from the same platform can talk to each other as that is a design and balance decision by behaviour not a technical issue. just use like any normal person discord, ingame voice chats are always full of people with 5€ mics.
