You guys seriously surprised about the expensive price + microtransactions?

It's a Warner Bros. published game. Seems people forgot what they did to the Shadow of War game on release. This is just the repetition of the same formula.

WB has for all purposes so far been absolutely bad recently.

Not surprised more disappointed as I was really looking forward to a new l4d game but everything since it hit the steam store page has been anything but positive.

But to be fair, WB treated Mad Max pretty well and like the only dlc available for that game was some Rockstar Energy promotion. Not to say B4B will get the same treatment but we can only hope.

B4B is a multiplayer though, it basically already implies there will be some sort of DLC/microtransaction system.

I blame em but also the state of video games. You can make mediocre or downright broken games and they'll sell well enough if marketed right.

Literal snake oil salesmen or pet rock economics. You buy a rock for 500x its normal price because it comes in a presentable way.
