PC Gamer is notoriously tough with their scores. A 60 for them isn't terrible per se. I'm hard-pressed to call them 'snobs', as I kind of like that they don't dole out scores in the 80s or 90s too freely.
The reviews overall have been mostly mixed, erring on the side of positive. But the most common critique seems to be its alleged mundanity; I haven't played it enough yet to make that call yet. But I am enthralled with the characters and world so far, and obviously the technical achievement/look of the game.
