Indeed it's an issue with the Unity Video Player. It's a bug in the engine that we've been battling quite hard before release. In the end we had to come up with a workaround that we tested successfully on all testing devices (internally and external QA).
However, it seems like on some systems it's still present. We are in contact with Unity for a full fix, since it's an issue that needs to be fixed inside the engine code.
Once the full fix is there we will patch the game of course.
This solution isn't working for me either. Lame. There are other things to play at the moment so I guess I'll come back to this later, maybe.
We've investigated further on this issue. Everyone with an Nvidia card, could you please check the following:
Go to the Nvidia control panel and check for your refresh rate. If it is set to anything higher than 60 hz (Hertz), please lower it to 60 hz. This should fix the issues with the video player.
I have a 4080. This didn't work.
Do you not think this is still a big problem? Why play a game at 60hz in 2024 lol.
