Is this game currently worth it?
I am just wondering cause I like the look of it, giving off kinda Evolva vibes for some reason by the player's character design.... and the fantasy setting looks appealing.. but is it currently worth considering?

Stay away from the game.

People are getting fatal errors every run, making the game unplayable. This is an ongoing issue for months.

STAY AWAY

it early access game and there are some times bugs after updates, usually the bugs are always fixed with the next update.

some people (me including) got fatal error after december update, after januar update I played few hours and I didn´t got this error again

for me is this game worth 17€

I had 2 or 3 hard crashes, honestly i paid a price that i consider very low for the quality here, voice acting, nice graphics and also balanced gameplay. For me it was worth every penny, i say get it and see if you like, its cheap and the Steam refund works wonders if you dont like it.

I dont get that many fatal errors as people seem to make out and thats usually if ive been playing the game for hours, otherwise if you like wierd surreal alien aesthetics and dungeon crwalers with a wierd blend of aztec and nordic mythos vibes then sure id recommend it, otherwise it might not be your cup of tea

Is there an option to play with out the roguelike thing and actually have a savegame? That's what would get me to buy it.

Save spots (between floors) game has at the moment dont erase if crash happen. I think even if you exit outside save zone your save will remain and can be reloaded if you stopped game before dying but you'll lose whatever gains happend past checkpoint. Theres no ending currently however and progression is tied to character dying as new one is spending earned goods to upgrade. There are elevator between foors that once reached and unlocked allow to skip to deeper level while getting simillar powerups to reaching those normally and base upgrades that allow craft (or get for free) starting gear up to level of those depths so its roguelike is not too constraining.

OK thank you for the information. What I hate about roguelikes is having to start the entire game over again when I die with regards to unlocked areas. I also hate not having an ending. I don't think I'll buy the game yet due to the latter but I am more interested than before.
