Is it even possible to get 99%?

Not sure which is the case but either this achievement is broken or the game uses some of the content only once in a millennium.
You'd think the one in a million achievement would be the hardest but no, I'm sure it's this one.

Yep it's possible. We tested it :) . 1 in a million is the hardest to get legitimately, however one of the easiest to hack.

Just makes me wonder even more what has to be done to get it. Normal playing doesn't seem to do the trick. Are there some special conditions?

Maybe I should just write a script to press buttons and let it run whenever I'm not using my PC. Would that even work or is it just going to waste electricity?

OP I have found that changing the number of steps taken has 'unlocked' different steps that I never saw when the max steps was set and led me to a higher precent. Give it a try, but I may be wrong.

what do you mean by "hack" ? you get 99% only after getting the 1 in a million? cuz those 2 are the only ones im missing

I have over 1300 hours of button mashing playtime... It does not seem to unlock those last 2 achievements.

Haven't checked this in a while but figured I'd see about getting 99%, started it fresh on my laptop and let it run with a script (unfortunately speed hack doesn't seem to work), it quickly gos up in percentage and eventually slowing down, this makes sense because after you've seen the majoirty it takes longer to see something new. Currently have 98% according to the stats file, no clue how this is actually checked and wish that it was a value that got stored to steam i.e. if there's 100 different things possible then you need to see 99 of them, that way if you played it on other compters it got carried through and much less likely to be bugged achievement.

Yeah I noticed, that and you never got the one in a million either. Unfortunately the devs never seem responsive anymore, why mention it's the easiest to hack and then not say how? I've tried various different things but nothing. (Also no one on astats has gotten the 99% so it seems likely that it is in fact broken, but won't know until I get the last 1% or more will probably take a few more hours of letting it play itself.

I can officially state that the 99% achievement is in fact broken. I just reached 99.33333% today and did not get the schievement, unless the stats file is incorrect. This was starting from a fresh install starting at 0%.
