So here is the interesting thing to me about this.

On the PS4 they block you from recording in certain scenes and sequences. It is obvious they want people to stream and post videos from the PS4 at least as otherwise they could just block it entirely in the game.

I guess they don't want PC users to post videos of the spots in the PS4 version they block?

which... BTW... they block you from recording the opening logos and the kinda static game menu. Makes no sense but... whatever.

I think people are misunderstanding this.

I honestly think what the message is implying is that if you upload THE GAME ITSELF on the internet anywhere, it's illegal. Same with being able to play it via some sort of streaming service. Posting videos of the game is fine.

Also, daily reminder? This is the day of release, lol.

Could also be like GGXrd, BBCF and other games where the devs don't want people to post the game's entire story mode online when the game just released and it's one of its main selling points...

it said "streaming" . Streaming term is meant for videos footage and live streams

There are streaming services that let you play a game remotely without buying the game. That's what they're talking about.

Yeah, and it also means being able to play a game through a streaming service, like PlayStation's service or the now defunct OnLive. It never specifies which streaming it is, but I'm pretty sure people have been streaming and uploading gameplay footage with no problem.

this screenshot was taken on steam version so i'm not sure if they are talking about PS streaming service or streaming footage of the game .
it could be anime copyright because there are anime cut scenes in the game.

thats fine imo, plenty of other games have had the same thing with no complaints, i guess its a selling point.

You can upload it as long is it follows Fair use. So do a review of the game's story and you will be fine. Also Atlus tried this and failed.

Your choice. I wait for reviews of games. I rarely buy them when they first come out or in early access but I will pass on this game. I do not want to support a company that could be willing to break the law to go against customers.

How is it a selling point? "Hey you can buy this game, but you're not allowed to show it to anyone." Live streams and Let's Plays have been proven to drive sales. That's why Nintendo stopped claiming videos of their games a while back. This will only hurt the game in the long run. Especially since LITERALLY EVERYTHING is locked behind the story mode. People can't even record online matches because of this.
