Is the difficulty switched?

So I'm playing this game on my other Steam account, but it seems the difficulty is switched.

According to the descriptions on the difficulty level, on 'Dread', the puzzles aren't randomized, battery doesn't drain as quickly, you have faster sprint, etc.

But it seems that with the Dread difficulty, the battery is draining *rapidly* sprint only lasts for a few seconds, and the puzzles are randomized.

What's going on here?
