PC won't boot after using Driver Booster !
Recently upgraded from i7 6700k to a Ryzen 3800x with a Gigabyte x570 gaming x motherboard and 32GB of ram however when i use driver booster to update my drivers after the install of the drivers i restart my computer and i get stuck on the windows 10 loading screen.. Any ideas why this might happen ? p.s i'm a pro user as well as i bought the license.

Just had something like this happen to me just got my Asorus x570 Master board and got everything up and running, then i ran driver booster and after that it didn't want to boot. I got my windows on a m2 disk and it stops booting after i updated the SATA drivers to Standard SATA AHCI Controller v1.3.1.276. Got it fixed by booting in safe mode and restoring it to the previous drivers AMD SATA Controller v1.3.1.276.

Yeah they didn't call back. So yeah screw this piece of ♥♥♥♥.

Ok so. what i did was is install the latest chipset drivers from the website. Then i used driver booster but i unchecked all the Standard SATA AHCI driver update and installed everything else this works fine for me now. very strange. So if you wanna use driver booster with ryzen don't update the Standard SATA AHCI driver and you should be ok.

The same thing happened to me, I restarted my pc after updating my drivers using this program and my pc started up with a blue screen.
I had to do a boot restore (or whatever it's called in english) to fix it, the restore reverted whatever this piece of crap did luckily.

It's not really a safe program to use, it just updates whatever without checking the consequences first and it leaves you to clean up the mess.

Well I had no problem with this software on my former setup.
It's probably like DeadSight said and it is all about the Sata drivers, but I am not eager to try it out.

The worst part and this is why I do not touch this software anymore, is that they didn't email me back.

I just finished reinstalling my OS after it bricked my PC. I just installed a Ryzen 5 and tried this garbage tier program, restarted my PC and it was stuck at Windows logo forever. Don't use this ♥♥♥♥.

just don't install the sata drivers from the software.... You can do that via the chipset driver from the manufactures website.. But with driver booster you can install everything else just not the updated sata drivers.
