Is this a scam?

I , being naïve don't think this is a scam , a friend though said to me this is a scam, I don't know if it is or isn't .
anyone of you have had bad experiences with the program ? Is it a scam like my friend says ?

Its essentially snake oil, all of their softwares.

It doesnt do anything that you cannot steadily do through Nvidia/ Amd automatic Updates or through Windows Updates and it loves to go overkill even if it breaks your system.

Avoid Iobit softwares in general, you dont need that trash.

This is completely useless. I seriously don't know if anyone here actually uses it? You for sure do not need any software like this, drivers and any such software packages are not frequently enough updated to warrant something like this, especially since every single game that relies on it will package it with the program, not including GPU drivers.

I would recommend against using this, there is nothing to gain from it except potentinally malware and/or sale of your data.

Thanks to this sht software, its get me Blue screen every sec now i do reset windows to roll back and lost so many apps in it

I used to like Iobit software but recently there software has been pretty bad. I still use Driver Booster (even though it isn't amazing) to keep my pc drivers updated.

Yeah it's a scam.

Windows does a better job updating drivers, and it doesn't ask you to upgrade to pro to find and update more drivers

I don't consider it a scam because a scam would be stealing or lying to you in my opinion, this program don't lie itdoes what it says it does, but the softwares this company does is stuff you can do manually it just make it easy as a one click task, like you could go to Nvidia web page yourself or amd page and download the drive yourself only difference is the program will do it for you, so it's like paying for convenience not for a feature you can't do....I only recommend if u can't find the driver yourself or you lost the disk etc otherwise better do it manually... Windows already install most of the drivers automatic anyway.

time is money and id rather pay a small fee to update 40+ drivers then look for them myself

why do you need to update anything other than your GPU drivers? there is quite literally no reason to manually do it, anything that relies on other drivers will always package with compatible drivers that install, or at least is offered to install along with the program you're already installing.
