Algol is the "Devil Star", yes, taken from google: "ts name comes from the Arabic al Ghul, “The Demon”, and in the Greek myths, Algol represents the head of Medusa, the snake-haired gorgon, the head of which Perseus used to turn the sea monster Cetus to stone. The ancients also considered Algol to represent misfortune."
Algol is a denizen of Taurus' Realm (so she was made by Taurus), but she was banished from Taurus' lands for Sorcery. In Taurus, sorcery is prohibited, Witchcat herself lives hidden inside the Alpaca Labyrinth so that nobody will find her, because she's a practioneer. She lives in the grounds beneath the realm of Taurus, in the ancient lands mentioned in some interaction I don't remember now, but that interaction might be in Algol's books. That ancient land might be Perseus' lands, where she resides.
As I quoted on my previous post: "that previous location is just a place near Taurus that Algol keeps her belongings. (it is quoted somewhere in the game also that that place is 'ancient and forgotten', so it might have been a part of Taurus in the past as you can see that it has similar enemies and tilesets as well, but not anymore).", so that place might have been an annex of Taurus in the past, which became Perseus (star movement and all that). Nonetheless, she is a tauresean, she's just banished.
Her direct link with Perseus, the character, inside the game is her background story with him, as well as his link with her mother's death, Medusa.
Also this assumption is correct: "the place Algol lives may not be affected since she is in the nearby constellation Perseus."
Ah, yes, Medusa has a small cameo on Osteoblasts, the other game published by Moonana and developed by Moonana's animator, Anglerman. But it's really small, I just thought to mention!
It's just the noon of the next day and I receive your reply, I am really excited!
Thanks for your attention on my post!
Still wonder why Libra insists Algol would betray Virgo, and I can't seem to find any evidence about this. Is this some "bugs" on scenario design, or I missed something hidden deeper during my game play?
By the way, I'm looking forward to Keylocker!
