what happened to deluxe edition? what a scam

Frustrating that I am being asked to pay for this as someone who already purchased the deluxe edition of the game. It'd be different if this was story content or something, but the deluxe edition was specifically for preordering the character packs...

The last Lego Marvel game had story DLC. This game just has a bunch of skin packs. Pass.

60,00 USD for the Deluxe Edition. Okay, fine. 70,00 USD for the same thing plus optional DLC? I'm sorry? I mean, I shelled out the 2,99 EUR that I had to pay up for the ones availible at the time of release (yes, living in two countries is grand for currency...), but I did that based upon the fact that it was simple to do so after pre-ordering a LEGO game and waiting for a while (enough to feel fine, I suppose, to pay another ten or so for the DLCs that were out at the time of release). Now, they want us to pay for the right to have all of the DLC (including paying for the Character Collection packs) for 70,00 USD? Do they think that not enough people have purchased the character packs? Perhaps this is a "reskinning" of sorts where they realise that many people understand that the developers did not even give the effort to give voice lines to the characters in the DLCs. This stinks of grifting...

when there will be story dlc for those who buy deluxe? Or you giving us useless skin packs for free to launch later story dlc's for money? If thats true, not cool, not cool

This is just ridiculous. The multiplayer is not working at all and they want to SELL thier s**t.

WTF!!! I bought the deluxe edition so I could get the bonus content without having to pay. So basically you clowns just stuck it in our asses and broke it off. I love the Lego series games as well as my kids, but you will never get another dime out of me, there's plenty of other games from other companies to fill in for for yours and they don't treat people that buy their deluxe or special edition customers like this.

I guess we know why the character maker was scrapped now...$$$$$$$

All the players: "Dear Lego, we want a character customizer and online multiplayer support. You know, pretty typical stuff." Lego: "That'll be an extra $50 for the customizer, $80 for the multiplayer, and for a mere $25, we'll throw in voice lines for the DLC characters. Thank you for your continued support, Lego"
