Losing the exclusivity has little to do with them being unable to make more games. But I kind of feel TT will be taking a break from Lego, especially with how long this last game took.
And, seriously, folks, they already did Harry Potter. They're not going back to do more.
I can't remember what it was called. I played it on a free trial of GamePass a long time ago, but the representation of more-realistic LEGO (with seams in the right places for the bricks that have them) left a positive impression on me. (Even the water was created using the transparent LEGO bricks.) The game had a far-East flair to it, and I think it was based on a movie I've never seen. (LEGO games based on movies tend to be confusing if one's not familiar with the references.)
Whatever LEGO games come next, I would like to see the LEGO-accurate action, scenery, textures, etc. and not the usual Tt style of bendable LEGO with non-LEGO scenery.
...maybe a new LEGO game that is its own story (but not a LEGO Movie game, a new story and setting).

Sounds like the Lego Horizon Zero Dawn game is going to be exactly that...everything made out of Lego bricks. No idea what type of game it is though...it seems to feature some action and some village-building but I'll have to wait for reviews to see if it's worth it.
