Can I upgrade my regular Skywalker Saga to Galactic Edition?

Hi guys,

so with this current sale that's been going on, I'm seeing the galactic edition is only 23€, I'd happily grab it. Problem is, I already own the standard version. Will that purchase give me another copy of the base game? Or is there another way to just upgrade mine and I just didn't see it on the page?

The DLC in combo are 44€, then I'd rather grab another copy via galactic for half that. But I don't understand, it's kind of counter-intuitive; usually if you already own something, it's deducted from the pack. So now I'm basically forced to grab it in combo with one more copy? I mean, can I at least gift that extra one to someone or smthn? On one hand I'll almost definitely grab it, just want information of what I can do with the extra one, I also don't want a game showing up twice in my list or stuff like that. Does anyone have any experience with a case like mine?

It's up to the seller if you can buy a pack if you own parts of the pack but in this case it is not possible the only way to get all the dlc are to buy them by themselves

you cannot but the game twice that is not possible the only way you can buy the game again is to send it to a friend.

EDIT: Have no fear guys, those that are thinking about the same upgrade as me. I just said eh wth, went to buy it, was warned I'll not receive an extra copy of the base game and the trooper pack, since I already had those. Got everything for 23€, still at the discount, no need to buy the steam DLCs separately for 44€ at all!
