How do you mod in 2025 without installing a bunch of stuff?

Depends on what you want to mod. Script mods like character creation? Gotta get the scripthook and what other mods depend on it, but not sure if the tools work well as of now and you may have to download an older version of the game.
Want character replacements like Darth Revan over Vader or Ahsoka over Mundi? Gotta extract everything and replace files, which expands the game size by like 2x.

Yeah unfortunately you gotta unpack the entire game, then replace files for skin mods. I have a couple myself like a Darth Revan skin over Vader but yeah extracting doubles the game size. I think there might be a way to repack it with mods but nobody has bothered to do it which is unfortunate

Only need some tools and time...... still, it's shocking (kinda- given that it IS wb games we' re talking about ) they Still didn't give us the promised customizer after so many years.
But then again- not the first by far they lied about lego skywalker saga......
Anyway, there are some tutors on YouTube iirc

So now PC players can't even mod some of their games. More and more I wonder why people keep playing on PCs when the games are as restricted as on console and cost more. PC gaming is supposed to be cheaper and give freedom to the player.
