How to get the Executor?

So I was told that I needed to do space battles over Tattooine or Bespin after completing the original saga. The problem is, there's no space battles showing in either area.
How can I get some to spawn?

easiest way to do this stuff is post-game.

I finally managed to get it. Someone had recommended swapping ships. I did that a few times and it spawned.

I had the Executor pop over Yavin repeatedly, even after I completed it. Then it let me shoot it down and completely destroy it. As a side note, it WAS a different spawn than the Executor you can summon as a cap ship, as I brought that into the same space too just to check. Was so weird.

Seems kinda odd to do that, especially since there's only 3 that actually appear like that. The Death Stars have to be unlocked via missions like normal ships. That said, I DO like that you can go back through most of the stuff in the story by going back into the cap ships, e.g. you can go back in the droid battlestation and see the rooms you walked through with Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon.

I got mine over Bespin upon a re-visit there in galaxy free-play. For what it's worth, I think I had already done repeated battles over Tatooine and Yavin 4 by that point.

Same here. Best left till you have completed all of the main movie/story mode and go back in with Free Play.

That ship can be predictably seen in Tatooine Space after cruising around for less than 2-3 minutes. Also shows up in Yavin Space the same way.

After a rather long space battle you will be given the option to BUY it for 8 Million Studs. You can decline right then, but will have permanent access to buying it later in the Capital Ships section.
