That frustrating brick in the water in Theed

I keep failing over and over on that brick in the middle of the water in Theed. I just cannot seem to jump up to it. Those floating platforms are unstable and when I do get out there it won't let me get it. I tried levitating R2D2 and another character through it and neither picked it up. I'm not sure if my characters are not jumping high enough or missing in one direction or another.

Are there any tips for how to get to that brick?

I just made a path with those crates and then double jumped to nab it. I died a few times but I managed it. When one of those crates start to wobble in the water, just jump and reposition yourself before you hit the water.

I finally went back today to conquer Theed. This time I used Jenga Fett and he was able to get it in two jumps. His jetpack lets him float over and gently drop onto the platform without upsetting them. Once I got him to make the second jump in the right direction, obtaining the brick was easy.
