Stuck on load game loading screen

Im 60% through the game and whenever i try and load my current save the game will just sit there, it doesnt crash but its just stuck on the loading screen. Any help would be appreciated.

(P.S. ive tried the usual running as admin and compatibility stuff and all of my graphic drivers/setting are up to date )

Sounds like a corrupted save file to me. Hopefully you have been keeping recent backups of your save file folder? There is really no fix for a corrupted save file other than replacing it with a backup version made prior to the corruption.

I always drag and drop a copy of my save file folder to my D: drive after every session just in case the file on my C: drive gets borked by a game crash or something.
