Can't get Sy Snootles...

A few weeks back the game crashed while I was in the middle of the "Sy Snootles Samba Saunter" side mission, and every time I have tried to pick up where I left off (on that particular mission) it doesn't work, as in

1. Sy Snootles is nowhere to be found2. The mission won't track, as in it will say it's tracking, but it won't actually track it.

IF ANYONE HAS A WAY TO FIX THIS (besides starting a new save file) PLEASE TELL ME HOW THE HECK I CAN FIX IT!!!!

A perfect example of why keeping a rolling "local" backup of your save file folder on another drive is so important with this game. With a local backup, the worse case scenario is that you loose one session worth of progress, but can restore to BEFORE a game crash corrupted your existing save.

I've mentioned this dozens of times on here, but some refuse to listen and ultimately pay the price for having no viable save file folder backup to rely on.

Only other suggestion is to file a bug report with TT Games and see what they have to say:
