Stuck in Maz's Castle - Bug ?

So I appear to be stuck in the Storyline of The Force Awakens within Maz's Castle. I have engaged the continue story option and I am within the Castle, I have quit last time within the ongoing events (I had to get people to be dancing). Now, whenever I try to continue the story, for which I have to find and speak to Maz, she is nowhere to be found and the area in which I am to sear for her, is empty. Can anyone help me with this ?

Also I have watched a youtube walkthrough, but it appeared to be a complete different row of events where it started to find Anakins Lightsaber.

ive had it the past 3 days ive contacted the support team and they told me the team is aware and are looking into but in the meantime theres nothing we can do until there is a patch for it sadly

is it the part where you go down to the chest in the basement with Rey? I just played through that part and I don't think I actually engaged with Maz at all, the cutscene has her dragging Poe and Chewie away, and then you're directed to the lightsaber with Rey.

I had the same issue. I couldnt find any clue how to solve this and I used hard way, I just had to start new save. I was trying to outplay that problem with doing some side quests but it didnt help at all. I think it is the only way to dodge this before patch from devs

Well this bug is at least 5 days old from what I can gather and I have just got the same issue on Steam PC. I think I'll play chrono cross and hope they patch it to be able to continue my game. I'm enjoying the game but it'll be a while before I feel like starting again. After all the time and delays it's very disapointing to see bugs like this.

To start a new save is no option for me, I'm already way too invested in this one. I guess I'll have to wait

yeah i'm not going to start a new save. I hope tt games can fix this asap.

Ditto. Oh well, still have quite a few other levels to play through. At least episode VII glitches after you unlock scavenger tools. Time to go mop up some freeplay areas :-)

Check out this video! I used this and it worked for me, I would say do this because it will probably be a while until TT actually patches the bug.

Nevermind, I guess just wait for an official patch or something, only issue is after finishing the whole story I did not get the "It's true... all of it achievement." Currently trying to figure out what to do.

Figured out editing the save file screws with the completion system, so I would definitely recommend waiting for the official patch.

i havent tried it yet but im gonna try copying and pasting the achivements blob see if that fixes the problem ill say what happens afterwards
