This is a CONSOLE PORT. The game was designed from the ground up for a Controller as the input device. This includes the flight mechanics. K&M support in LEGO games has always been mediocre, as is usually the case with any Console Port. Just not a high priority for the developers because they know who their majority audience is.
My advice... Hook a controller to your PC and enjoy a much more satisfying experience.
These days I don't even bother trying one of these Console Ports out with my keyboard and mouse. I already know the controls are going to be crap.
I if it's fixed or not but sometimes I can't control it either so I've tried to move the mouse diagonally and it's worked for me
You just need to find the right spot
Unless, of course, the game decides to be a massive ♥♥♥♥ about mapping buttons and such. I absolutely agree on just using a joypad but I've had hours of frustration in trying to get a game to read my controller buttons properly.
Though using an Xbox 360 or Xbox One controller can help since Windows is more compatible with those. I don't even have an Xbox but I have one of the controllers since some PC games just refuse to work right without one.
