Ok let's all admit it...
We all wanted this game to be good but just look at it honestly. THIS GAME IS ♥♥♥♥ lmao.

-The levels are so short they rival Lego Indiana Jones 2 (insert bucket of your tears)
-The cut scenes are about as long as the levels and rush through the story so fast they make the episodes look like short films instead of the feature length films they are
-There is so much story and level design potential to be fleshed out that was absolutely wasted because they make the levels the equivalent of a mini tootsie roll
-The 30 fps cut scenes are absolutely shameful and there is no excuses. This isn't the early 2000's, having 60 fps+ cut scenes has definitely been a thing in Lego games for a while now
-The fps drops, the overall game stability, the bugs and glitches, etc. are so bad they make Cyberpunk's launch look heavenly. It's especially disgraceful that rtx 30 series cards are struggling on a game series famous for being easy to run and always boasting great frame rates
-We're not even gonna mention how low of fps you get on the droid factory level because I know you've all experienced it by now
-The menus are somehow complex when literally every other Lego game has had simple, neat, easy to navigate menus
-The character's mouths move even when they're not even talking lmao
-There's all this open world with plenty of kyber bricks but who wants an experience where you go around doing hunt quests or fetch quests for longer than you experience the iconic stories of the movies
-You spend more time walking around hubs to get from level to level than actually playing a level
-You rarely have to rely on using the teamwork of all the characters in your party and their unique abilities because the levels are so simply designed that there's barely any abilities required to progress through the level at all

In summary, every 3 mins of game time resulted in me saying the same two words over and over again as I painfully realized this would be the first Lego game I would ever dislike; those words being "That's it?" I truly am astounded at how lacking this game is, especially compared to our lord and savior "Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga." It truly breaks my heart to see the spotless reputation of Lego games finally be tarnished by such an incomplete, over-hyped, unstable mess </3 RIP Lego Games 2022

If they would be 30 fps the counter would show 30. There are games that have 30 fps cutscenes and when they appear the counter shows 30. Sorry buddy but you're wrong.

Smh....you idiot, there's a difference between in game frame rate and animation frame rate. Your fps counter is going to give you the game frame rate not the animation frame rate. There's a huge difference. I'm not the only one saying this, check the rest of the thread.
Some of the cutscenes are 100% running at 60 fps. The ending cutscene of episode 5 is running at 60 fps for example.

Yeah, I had to refund it. I was expecting The Complete Saga, but better. What I got was a trimmed down version of the game that requires, as you said, zero character swapping to actually complete the levels and barely any building. I played two hours, got to the end of Episode 1 and didn't even know, or notice, what the unique abilities of each character were.

Don't get me wrong, it looks great, but I felt bored very quickly and the cut scenes had me saying, "that's it". I mean some of them just abruptly ended and it's like, what's the point. Anyway, after learning the iconic intro to Episode 3 wasn't in the game, I finally made the decision to refund the game.

It feels very Super Mario Odyssey, but with Star Wars and Lego, and doing neither exceptionally well.
There are many flying section in the game that are iconic in the movies. At least the boss battles are more tactical this time, not like in TCS where all you could do is spam the jump attack 10 times and that's it.

While I enjoy the game enough it's definitly a downgrade when compared to other lego titles in my opinion. My biggest issues have mostly been covered by others but I've just completed the OT and PT trilogies and they rush through them so quickly, in Revenge of The Sith you don't even get to attack the Jedi Temple (there's also no hooded Anakin to unlock which really annoyed me as I was waiting to unlock that version of him before doing Galaxy Free-Play, not to mention they also use RoTJ Palpatine for Ep3) and there's huge chunks cut or smashed together to "save time" which really hurts the game. Honestly they should have released this in parts starting with the OT, then PT, and finally the ST for the 5 people who would have bought that lol, they could have even connected post-release like the Hitman titles do to make one huge game. Unfortuently quality doesn't mean anything these days apparently so while I do enjoy it for the most part, it's not worth getting until AT LEAST 50% off as that's how much is missing from each movie in this game.

and if you make a game about 9 movies,
then yes that is ambitious and a lot to deliver.
45h story mode? YES ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ PLEASE.
no one has ever complained about Skyrim, Assasins creed etc. having too much to do either. and Assasins creed is definitely longer than the movie :steammocking: LMAO
I don't want to play 35 hours of Lego puzzle for a 10 hour story. The funny thing about that... ALL THOSE PUZZLES are optional in the open world.

They gave you same ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ product. They just streamlined the game levels. Took out the filler lego puzzles and put that content into the open world.

Yet, you got grown ass men whining how we don't have 25 minutes levels doing the same puzzle we do in the open world. The old lego formula don't work anymore. They had to change it.
Exactly.

Nothing important is missing from the movies to be honest. It's like you are talking about The Complete Saga which felt like 80% of the movie were missing.

Did you just say the attack on the temple "isn't important"? or the space battle of Endor as well as the intro to EP3? simple fact of the matter is this is a lazy release.

What do you want to do in attack of the temple? Yoda and Obi-Wan kills a few clones in front of the temple and that's it. WTF are you talking about? You play as the good guys in the story, so you can't play as Anakin killing the Jedi and everyone there dies anyway so you also can't play with a no name Jedi. The EP3 intro is there in a cutscene, no big deal. It's just filler anyway. I never heard anyone calling it iconic before this game came out. You guys are ridiculous at this point with your nitpicking.

Not so much nitpicking as pointing out holes where there should be none. The temple assault is a major development in Anakin's journey and shouldn't have been ommited, at the very least it should have had a cutscene. The intro to EP3 shouldn't have been relegated to a cutscene however as there isn't a single Star Wars fan I know that don't enjoy a good space battle scene. Short of it is the game glosses over story points across all the movies, and instead of getting something definitive we get a time waster at best. Sorry if I want more from my video games dude.

They didn't showed the temple attack even in the movie. They showed Anakin flip out his light saber in front of younglings, than we got 3 seconds of clones shooting some Jedi, than they showed a 3 second hologram. There is your big temple attack. There are tons of space battle levels in the story. Anakin's flight, Obi-Wan vs Jango in space, Han Solo escaping from the Death Star, Luke Destroying the Death Star, etc. You nitpick 2 or 3 thing from the game and than you crap on the whole product because of it.

Judging by the content of your post, you must be an edgy pre-teen. Only edgy pre-teens shame people for liking "video games for kids". You must be hating on Nintendo games too, I wager.
I hope you do well at school so your parents give you a bit money so you can buy the next COD, a game for mature gamers such as yourself.

Exactly.

Honestly, if I wasn't sold already, this comment and the response would of sold me. One of the more tedious things about lego games was being forced to do puzzles to advance. I'm glad they are optional now.

I will say I'm pretty mad about the Battle of Endor not being playable.
