How to swap players in split-screen coop mode?

By default, the gamepad player is on the left, and the keyboard player is on the right. How to swap them? I can’t sit with the gamepad on the left, because there is a wall))

The left player is the primary input, decided by whether a controller or a keyboard were used in the main menu for the "Please press a button/key to continue" prompt.

If you wanna swap them, use the keyboard in the main menu first, then add the controller as a second player once you're able to (AKA load into a world).

I'm having the same issue, still haven't found a fix for it
