Seriously? If you are okay with a 720p resolution at an unstable 30fps then the Switch version is the way to go!
I own a Switch, but this game's appeal is how gorgeous it looks in Native 4k at 60fps. Buying the game for my PC was a no brainer. Besides that, the PC version is $10 cheaper than the Switch version and $20 cheaper than the PS5 or XBOX Series versions.
You would think so... But then there is the FPS issue so many are having, while others like myself have enjoyed an across the board nearly locked 60fps through the entire game. Including the much reported Droid Factory and Ewok Village.
Unlike the consoles... The number of hardware/software configurations that are possible with the PC platform is almost endless, so I don't envy any developer trying to test for bugs on the PC ahead of a public launch.
Others have also stated the Gungan's Gone quest auto completes at 2/3 objectives and doesn't reward the brick it's supposed to.
So far the most nasty bug I encountered is the one where your aiming system loses focus (does not track any ships in a space fight) or tracks your allies instead. Happened in both levels and free roam. You then have to spend much more time on a single mission when you have to e.g. protect a rebel against TIE Fighters, as quite often your shots are automatically aimed at the rebel and you end up killing him instead
Also, while in freeroam, when I am at Ewok Village I have like 8 minutes of gameplay, until my fps drop to like 15...and leave the game unplayable. Never happened when played through levels, but now I have to go to space, and come back to the planet again to have ca. 8 minutes of smooth game, and then it drops to 15 fps again... So yeah, that's another nasty one.
I know Ewok Village and Droid factory are commonly reported for fps issues, but Droid Factory worked well for me...?
Are you having the targetting issue when youre playing coop or single? I had to quit out of the game to fix it, or sometimes just fail then we i restarted the challenge it would work.
This is 100% true. If you make anyone but a Rebel Alliance character the pilot of your ship, you will be fighting for the bad guys most of the time. Fortunately, you can change characters while in your ship in the middle of space combat. I always make a point to put a Jedi in the cockpit before doing any space combat stuff.
And it is not just the Villain Class... In Free Play Mode, IG-11 will often fight for the bad guys if he is flying the ship. IG-88 as well. (I tend to run with one of those guys as my #2 on the ground)
At this rate only God knows when there will be an update...
