What windows 7 most games run under 10 and no window 7 for this.

Dude Windows 7 hasn't been supported by most games nowadays. Microsoft doesn't even support Windows 7 anymore, so why should game developers? 2020 was the end of life for 7. Update your PC. Windows 10 runs faster than 7 in game performance due to optimizations for SSD's and under the hood optimizations for the RAM and CPU.

It's 2022, my dude.

The requirements on the store page says Windows 10, so no. Your PC is a security risk when using Windows 7 anyway, as Microsoft isn't releasing their monthly security patches for it anymore. So you're just begging for more malware.

It's a Directx 11 game so it'll probably run.

Might be a newer version since it supports native HDR.

Direct X 11, ain't just Direct X 11; see this video (it deals about GPUs, but touches on Direct X versions):

Meaning that Win 7 might not support some libraries of DX 11 that are required to run and only available to Win 10 and above.

I have five computers and two of them run windows 7. So for those of you telling me what year you're not helpful at all. I simply asked if anyone has had any luck running it on Windows 7 yet and will wait for an intelligent answer.

:lmao: toasters they're my computers actually one is for my son and here are the specs for three of them, the other two are laptops one being an Alienware. All of them probably better then what you got.

First PC
CPU: Intel® 6-Core i7-8700 @ 3.8GHz
GPU: Nvidia GTX 1080 8G DDR5X
RAM: 64GB DDR4 @ 2666MHz
DISPLAY: Samsung 65" QLED (Q70A) 4K Ultra HD Smart TV

Second & third pc (both identical other than one on a 55" screen)
CPU: Intel® Core(TM) i7-3700 @ 3.4GHz
GPU: Nvidia GTX 1050 TI 4G DDR5X
RAM: 32GB DDR3 @ 1600MHz
DISPLAY on PC2: Samsung 65" QLED (Q70A) 4K Ultra HD Smart TV
DISPLAY on PC2: Samsung 55" Plazma HD TV

I was simply trying to fix it for my son since with both bought compies. I can see others asking in different discussion if anyone had luck loading in with Windows 7 as well so like I said above always a troll with nothing intelligent to say. :smily:

All three of those PCs will run Windows 10 just fine. In fact the first one meets the requirements for Windows 11. If their existing Windows licenses are valid then Windows 10 can be installed as an in-place upgrade and it will automatically activate the correct edition.

All three have GPUs that only have new driver updates on Windows 10 or above.

I'm updating to 10 as we speak. I'm afraid that a lot of my older games, like Skyrim, won't take 10. I'm updating to play Star Wars.
Oh, by the by, for those of you who can't afford to buy Win 10, like myself, the free update is still up. Google it!

Yeah I ended up grabbing a copy of Windows 10 for cheap online and installed fresh. I am just about done the Updates for the OS then will install Steam and give it a try. My son will be happy when he can play soon on his own pc.
