How-To Claim A Code

There are two locations within the game menus where you'll find a code entry screen, which will let you type in any of the Lego Star Wars The Skywalker Saga codes listed above.

1. Open your Holoprojector, move to the Extras tab then follow the Enter Code prompt.
   
2. Enter the Pause menu and select the key icon labelled Enter Code.

If you enter the code correctly, you'll receive a notification to confirm it has been accepted and revealing what has been unlocked. As with previous games, you'll only need to enter each code once, which will permanently unlock the item or feature and, where applicable, the option to enable or disable it through the menu.

I don't recall there ever being a code unlock in a LEGO game that wasn't unlockable by playing it.

Lego Movie had code exclusive characters and pants.
Lego City Undercover had two cars with a code from a physical Lego set.

Yes, some of the character variations are code exclusive. Have a look at the linked guide to see which ones are. :)

Code Exclusive means that you can only unlock that version of the character e.g. Darth Vader with the Christmas Sweater or the Snow GONK Droid by using the code ingame. Not related to preorder bonuses at all - the codes are useable by everyone. :)
