You might be able to get it to run in compatability mode. But, there is really no way to tell until it comes out or one of the actual game devs say one way or the other.

as someone who basically has no idea how operating system works, I don't see anything in this game that would require windows 10 (aside from the usual microsoft ditched the support)

It could potentially work. Though I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't work. It may be worth upgrading to Windows 10 within the next 3 years.

no new games are going to be able to run on Windows 7 anymore, with Microsoft wanting people to use windows 10/11, and making new drivers only work with windows 10/11, so you are fighting a losing battle, with trying to keep using windows 7.

I think the general rule I've seen is that if a game has dx11 support it will most likely work on windows 7, dx12 is windows 10 and up and won't work on 7, the game's page says it's directX version is 11 so it will probably work

completely false, lots of new releases post windows 7 official support have worked perfectly fine

^^^^ i made a steam group and started a list right now over 200 games i have played on win 7 and run just fine that claim 10
