Main story only 14-16 hours?

An interview TT did with Taminggaming said the main story was only gonna be 14-16 hours to complete all films. What are your thoughts on it? That seems extremely short if you're not hunting for 100% or doing the side content.

So, roughly 20h of movie content cut down to 14-16. Sounds about right for a LEGO game. Since the hunting, side content, and 100%-ing are pretty much why the game exists and can double or triple that, usually by going back through stuff in free roam and the massive amount of side content.

you literally are missing the entire point of a lego game if you're not going for 100%

LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga takes about 13+- hours to complete the main story, and there are 6 films and 36 main levels in it, which were shorter in duration than in the last games

I think this is 14-16 hours - this is for a very fast passage of only the plot, without any distractions even on the details of the main levels themselves

don't forget DLC story packs - this game looks ambitious to me - I read games like skyrim etc are super long - well thats not really true, if you follow main quest lines of these games only - its not long at all - those games are generally for the hardcore gamers too - lego games need to stay captivating for children, so mindless grinding will bore them off...having said that, main story and all side quests will make this game pretty big - big for a Lego game anyways

I think it's 14-16 average. Some people are going to take longer while others will rush through the game.

welp thats wrong, the people you got the info from must not be smart cause in a bunch of other interviews TT said its gonna be 16-20 hrs (10-15 mins per level which there will be 45 levels, the remaining time is from pre-levels before the actual levels start) to complete the whole story, then 50+ hrs to 100% the game

Jedi Fallen order takes about 17 hours to beat the main story and 35 hours to 100%, 16 hours is a perfect amount of time for the main story. Lego games are pretty short to complete the main story but there is more stuff that is in the game like side-quests and collectibles which those alone would make the game about 50 hours to 100%.

How much do you spend to go to the cinema, or takeaway? atleast you can keep it I think they were reasonable on the pricing but that's just me.

14-16 hours is perfectly fine for a open world game.(Most of the GTA games were that long and were fine with that)

thats still a pretty long game. and consider the fact you can play each level multiple times to discover each available path. plus free play to unlock all 1166 kyber bricks. thats like 50 hours in story alone because of 4 replays tp get everything

How fast do you have to play to complete the story in 14 hours? You can see it now. Some people got a 90 minutes demo of episode 4. For example here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=63dn2mCxs_c
In 75 minutes he got from the start of episode 4 to the arrival on Yavin IV. On this speed 1.5 hours per episode are realistic, so 13.5 hours for all nine. But he played very fast, didn't explore or collect anything.
