Short Answer: Yes. 😬
LEGO Star Wars, LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy and LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga all had a basic hub level, and 6 levels per episode. This game will have 5 levels for each of the 9 movies, and there is no single hub level, but will instead have explorable planets (that will function similar to LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens).
I don't know for a fact, but I assume the levels have been totally revamped, if not completely new from scratch.
