Co Op Camera? New?

Will this new engine allow a better co op play? or will it split the screen into boxes again and make it hard to see? Would love to see shared screen co op.

I swear I've played at least one Lego game where the co-op camera is shared when you're close together, and splits when you go away from eachother.
So it's certainly possible(in theory).

LEGO Lord of the Rings and LEGO The Hobbit, both had shared screen when close, and split when far apart.

since indiana jones 2 they've had the option for a shared screen when close and split when apart.

The last one to come out (LEGO Villains) does not have dynamic splitscreen (or steamcloud). I guess that's why he's asking.

PC, Xbox and Switch. We tried all three for Lego Marvel 2 and Lego DC Vills. The camera put is in boxes even when close. That is why I am asking as Lego Skywalker saga looks amazing and would love it to be a shared screen co op. Just cannot find much info about the game =p
