Confused on Hub World
I'm confused on how exactly the new hub will work. We know it won't be the cantina (really disappointed by that), but instead you'll fly around the galaxy and go to planets to start an episode? How will that work?

I think that the description may be similar to the way that LEGO... Clone Wars did it, but if it's truly open-galaxy, not really; still, I did like the navigation mechanic in that game:

To initiate the Republic/Separatist Ground Battles, I think you actually set a destination using the map table of either the Resolute or Invisible Hand capital ships (for Republic or CIS respectively, to travel among a dozen or fewer planets (you'll warp there instantly if you choose a story mission); you can also get out and board a ship to accomplish a couple goals in each planet's space. Pretty cool.

This seems VERY epic and awesome, and definitely something I'll want to get!
Nahhhh, there's no maps tables in big ships or anything like that, it's like the spaceship mechanics in TFA, except you can just fly a ship freely anywhere between the planets. There's also random events in space, I believe in the E3 demo, they showcased a random arrival and battle with a star destroyer and tie-fighters. Various interviews and stuff have said there's different areas ya can land on each planet, and presumably the levels will be similar to recent games where yoh just go to where the level starts to start it, and probably replay it using a map or something.
As far as what appears when and stuff, there is a menu to select what episode youre playing in, which determines what sorta characters and stuff spawn in the hub world's (i.e no stormtroopers in episode 2 etc). Hope that clears some of it up

It's fully open Galaxy with many different planets to explore.

Think of No Man's Sky but on a smaller scale.

Yeah I know that, but I'm just confused on how starting Episodes and missions will work. Say you wanted to do Episode I, would you go to Naboo to start it? Or if you wanted to do Episode IX, you go to Exegol?

So, to clarify:

-When NOT doing an episode, you can freely explore the whole galaxy and all the planets (as well as hopefully go to Mos Eisley Cantina to start bar fights like in the other games).

-To start an Episode, you go to the menu and select it (you can do them in whatever order), and you'll begin doing its levels?

Exactly! (I'm sure we'll get bar fights in mos eisley, dunno what the point in the game would be otherwise) And when you're freely exploring the planets, the characters that spawn in the planets are relevant to whatever episode you've been playing

So no more cantina brawls? ;-;

I mean, the cantina is still in the hub world and you can visit it, so hopefully we might get cantina brawls for some nostalgia.

Anyone remember the hub world for the prequel games? It was like a diner if I remember correctly .

It was Dexter's diner. I'm sure we'll also see it somewhere in the hub world in the new game too
