Get woke Go Broke
Do yourselves a favour and buy the Lego Saga Edition instead. All buying this does is tell Disney that their garbage Legends Trilogy deserves your money.

Huh. How's this game woke?
Game isn't even out yet, you assume all too much.
it does have the original trilogy and the prequels, wouldn't it make the game less woke
I don't like the st but if it's a good game i might get it, i hope they don't force voice acting on us, the lego lord of the rings and avengers were weird because of it
Not buying this one because 1) I already own all the good Star Wars Lego games, and 2) because i'm not paying good money to get a lego version of Disney's sh*tty Star Wars trilogy.

No. I will buy this one too. Already have the other star wars lego games.
Only a third of the game will be your favorite sequel trilogy

That could be on of the best SW game ever, and it's made by TT Games, not Disney.

You can rebel yourself against Disney if you want, but you'll miss a lot of fun.

Thing is, you can like the new trilogy or don't like it, but if Disney had not bought SW, we wouldn't have had anything new. I still read legends books and enjoy them, Disney did not destroy them at all, they're still sold, they still exist. Disney just made films that you can skip if you don't like, new games that you can play or skip, new books that you can read or skip... At least you have the choice to pick what you like and skip what you don't like, and that's a lot better than not having anything new to pick from...

I'm glad Disney bought SW because I had a lot of fun playing the new battlefront 2 lately, and Fallen Order was really good, and I can still enjoy the good old KOTORs or the 2005 BF2. I don't like the films but that's okay, because to me, Thrawn's trilogy is the real sequel, instead of hating on the films, I just don't watch them and pretend they don't exist...

You should wait and see if you like the game or not before deciding to skip it.

That's nice. And I agree... to a point. Thing is though, because of how fiction works, you can retroactively change things with later movies or episodes. I.E **SPOILERS FOR RISE OF SKYWALKER**, Force heal being a thing. To use it as a most basic example, it makes Qui-Gon dying seem more dumb. You can argue how believable it is it was lost knowledge, but of course that's besides the point, I'm just using it as an example. Or the Emperor returning makes his defeat in Episode 6 have less of an impact. I more or less do the same thing, focusing on stuff like the Clone Wars (waiting for season 7 to finish so I can watch it all in one go) and Rebels which I do think make great additions to the world of SW. BUT, at the same time, you see advertising for the new movies. And in the back of your mind, know the new movies are canon. And at that point I suppose it's a matter of how easily you can get past Disney saying "this is canon", and promptly doing your best to ignore the sequel trilogy.
If you're worried about things breaking canon, you'd better not play any of the prior lego games either. I recall them playing fast and lose with the canon of every franchise they adapted - the most dramatic example being how in Lego Jurassic World they changed all the stories so that nobody and nothing gets killed, but there are changes to the plots in every single game made.

And of course if your problem is that the recent movies were "woke", then you'd better skip the original movies too - there were, like, only two females in the SW universe back then but there were still females in the SW universe back then! Oh no! FLEE! THE WIMMINS ARE COMING! FLEE!!!
I didn't like most of the sequel trilogy myself but it did have some good concepts, which got executed poorly unfortunately. I trust that TT Games will do their best to cut out Disney's more explicit lefty propaganda.

If you want to deprive yourself of modern gameplay and graphics for speculative reasons then go ahead, but I won't.
The new movies just aren't canon to me. They don't exist to me in star wars lore. Not a bit of them. Not a single scene from those movies exists in the real star wars universe, as far as I'm concerned.
But unless they do silly ♥♥♥♥ like censoring slave Leia, or adding a ton of woke stuff, shoe-horning ♥♥♥♥ in like they do with a lot of stuff these days, I will still be getting this game.
TT have a decent track record, especially with lego star wars games, and I'm sure, given the amount of time they have had to develop this, that they will do a stellar job here and we will get a great game.
If you hate the trilogy and disney as much as you say, then don't buy it. All I will do is buy it, play it, and if it seems poor when it gets to the last 3 movies, I will just end at RotJ, and call it a day. Still worth it for a brand new lego take on the first 6 movies.
